According to channel sources, Acer UK managing director Gianpiero Morbello is also believed to be leaving the country and expected to take on a European role.
It is understood Levit and Morbello will be replaced respectively by Acer UK sales director Bobby Watkins and David Drummond, Acer country manager for South Africa.
Reports from South Africa quoted Drummond as stating he had enjoyed his time working in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa and he was looking forward to driving the Acer brand in the UK.
The changes at Lenovo will see Alan Munro, general manager for the vendor's operations in Australia and New Zealand become vice-president for the UK and Ireland.
In a statement, Lenovo said Munro will relocate with his family but "In the meantime, Lenovo UK and Ireland will be led on a temporary basis by a senior EMEA executive David Blackmore."
