ThinkGrid is widening its channel programme introducing more support for those resellers that are struggling to find the resources to get themselves trained to sell cloud technology.
The vendor has embraced the channel in the past year providing marketing funds, a portal and support for partners but believes that it has come to the end of stage one in a process of building its reseller base.
Rob Lovell, CEO of ThinkGrid, said that it was introducing a zero commitment level into its channel programme to appeal to those that did not have the time or resources to get trained up but wanted to get involved in the market.
The silver partner tier is designed to attract traditional server resellers that are interested in the cloud but have remained cautious up to now or those smaller dealers that simply cannot afford to have people out of the office getting accredited.
"We have been through the first cycle with the early adopters getting on board and we are looking at the next phase of people who can take the opportunity," said Lovell.
"With the silver tier they can dip their toe in the market without having to make any commitment up front," he added.
