The Avaya and Polycom reseller, which spun out of Cable & Wireless in 2001, specialises in contact centre, computer telephony integration and voice, and data and video connectivity. It also develops its own Microsoft-based comms software apps.
Micropoint, which is a Cisco, Dell, HP, Microsoft and VMware partner, specialises in LAN and WAN infrastructure, cloud based services, and server and desktop support, and runs its own brand systems monitoring and management managed services programme, SmartSource.
IP Integration said it was looking at complementary firms with similar services cultures and expertise in specific roadmap product sets as it embarks on its acquisition drive. Micropoint forms the first step along this road.

He added: "Supporting Micropoint within the group gives an excellent opportunity to treble the acquired business within three years."
