The distributor's Cloud Foundation will provide training around infrastructure as a service and provide certifications for those partners that go through the process.
The move comes as distribution as a whole has stepped up its cloud support for resellers with Ingram Micro, Computer 2000 and ComputerLinks all having their own support schemes for partners.
Kevin Collins, EMEA go to market strategy director at Magirus, said that following on from its relationship with Colt, which was sealed last November, it had started to makes plans for increasing the number of resellers that could take advantage of its infrastructure as a service offerings.
Collins said that it would continue to offer traditional support for partners but had to start providing more flexibility in recognition of growth in the demand for cloud.
"We are here to support the business model they want. We can wrap around infrastructure as a service. There will be different models for different people," he said.
He added that it was going to get through about 20 to 30 partners in the early stages, "and then more as time moves one because we are here to say 'this is what's available to you'".
