Fujitsu is offering its reseller partners tha chance to offer extra discounts of up to 18% on its Esprimo desktop line and 12% on its Lifebook notebook line in a bid to drive more sales in the run up to the end of the public sector financial year.

The discounts will be available on a sliding scale, kicking in at 10 units and reaching a maximum level at 25-plus on desktops and 140-plus on notebooks. Fujitsu claims this could equate to around £50 off per unit per customer, rising to £62 on higher-end notebook lines.
It is also added discounted rates on extended warranty agreements and as an extra sweetener, said it may allow resellers to consider offering the discounted prices to corporate customers as well.
"Fujitsu and its partner network are strong in the public sector but with the cuts that all departments and authorities have to make, it's going to make all the difference if we can offer them even better value," reasoned Fujitsu TS UK and Ireland product marketing manager Craig Parker.
"From a partner perspective, the promotion will help them to close deals and bring in valuable business, plus all the added-value opportunities that will go with these roll-outs," he added.
