The tie-up is being described as one that benefits both parties because SanDisk is looking to increase its share in business markets.
"This relationship is an extension of our strategy to provide resellers and their customers with more choice. In return, Westcoast offers SanDisk proven expertise in helping partners to extend their reach into new market segments within the B2B sector," said Alex Tatham, sales and marketing director at the distributor.
The vendor has been open about its ambition to extend its reach across the UK and Ireland, using channel partners to deliver that business.
"The complete range of SanDisk products will now be available to a wider market through the established network of Westcoast resellers and this decision is a significant development in SanDisk's channel presence," said Mark Pini, marketing manager at SanDisk.
