Dell, HP and Microsoft partner Lanway has made a series of appointments across the business to boost its client-facing expertise and support.
The move follows the internal promotions of Stephen Ackers to CEO and Andrew Henderson to managing director, made last month, and the decision, made last autumn, to revamp the firm's business model and beef up its managed services strategy in the wake of the government's public sector cuts.

"This recruitment drive is part of a wider strategy to refine our service offering and make sure our growth is focused and sector specialised," said Henderson.
"[We] have the capability to deliver a complete service from sales right through to post-installation technical support, and the teams dealing with each stage of this process have been bolstered," he explained.
Henderson added that the firm was now focused on organic growth in each vertical sector it deals with.
Among the new hires are new senior network engineers Craig Hummer and Chris Lawrence, who join from Central Networks & Technologies (CNT) and CMS respectively, while Stuart Buckley also joins from CNT in the role of solutions consultant within the firm's specialist housing team.
Meanwhile, the firm has also appointed former Daisy Communications consultant Darren Hodgson to bolster its presales team responsible for designing bespoke solutions.
