Security specialist Becrypt has underlined its commitment to building a channel business by allowing partners to implement and install complex sales on behalf of the vendor.
The Platform for Success initiative doesn't just encourage partners to work more closely with the vendor but also gives access to a range of support materials.
The vendor recently introduced a dealer registration programme and the series of enhancements to its channel model are being spearheaded by Jo-anne Patterson, who is making an impact fairly quickly in her role as head of channel and alliances UK.
Bernard Parsons, CEO of Becrypt, said that the changes responded to the need customers had for security experts on the ground who could help them counter the increasing number of sophisticated threats.
"Our latest partner programme responds to the growing requirement for robust cyber security solutions and the specialist expertise necessary to implement them as criminals continue to get ever more sophisticated in their attacks on corporate networks," he said.
He added that the openness it would give resellers, including a view of its product roadmap, demonstrated a "level of maturity" that was not shown that often in the industry.
