Since its acquisition by Stockholm-listed Proact, B2Net claims to have grown its revenues from £48m to £52m, and has boosted its headcount by 30.
CEO Jason Clark told MicroScope that after a smooth acquisition process, the rebranding decision was made partly to take advantage of Proact's name to increase the firm's standing and ability to service international clients.
However, he said, the firm also believed the move would help boost its industry presence in the UK.
"We've done very little advertising or branding work as B2Net. It's just a name to us," he explained. "The Proact brand has very little presence [in the UK], but its excellent reputation in Europe is something we hope to extend into this country."
The firm will be demonstrating a new cloud offering called 'Flexpod as a Service' at this week's Cloud Expo in London. The service is built on an integrated infrastructure from Proact's key vendors, Cisco, NetApp and VMware.
