Avaya has parted company with yet another senior executive, losing UK and Ireland channel director Niall Anderson just over a year into the role.

Anderson, who joined Avaya from comms firm Global Crossing in late 2010, is heading to Avaya partner G3, where he will take over from Alan Lloyd as group sales director.

With a brief to further develop G3's service delivery straegy and capitalise on a rapidly changing market, Anderson will also be reunited with former boss Lee Shorten, who left Avaya last year and currently works with both G3 and rival networking reseller Excell in a strategic advisory role.

"Niall's knowledge of Avaya and his senior experience in the data networks arena will help us enhance our service offering and improve the overall experience for our customers," said G3 managing director Tony Parish.

"Niall has an impressive track record and a reputation for building strong customer relationships. Has skills and experience align perfectly with those required to meet our strategic priorities," he added.
