Evans left HP at the end of 2011 and has crossed the Mac-PC divide to Apple, where he will shortly take charge of its reseller network, such as it is.
Bourguet, meanwhile, has been in charge of the consumer sales team for two and a half years, where he has already been praised for growing UK marketshare and shoring up key retail relationships.
Bourguet joined HP's French outpost from Philips in 2001 as a retail account manager, and worked his way up to European account manager for Dixons, before moving across to the UK operation in 2009.
"He has done an outstanding job of leading the retail team and I'm looking forward to working with him as part of the leadership team to help drive the UK PSG business to even greater success," said PSG UK and Ireland VP Paul Hunter.
Replacing Bourguet as consumer sales manager is Alex Ebeid, currently retail sales team leader, who has been with HP since 2003.
