HP plans to help its networking partners boost their overall competitiveness and grow their revenue opportunities following a series of tweaks to its PartnerONE and ExpertONE programmes in EMEA.
As part of the move, HP is to fold all former Preferred Partners into its PartnerONE programme, which it claims will enable them to increase their potential margins through new programme discounts, growth accelerators and rebates.
The vendor has also streamlined its networking specialisations, whittling them down to three, Registered, for SMB partners; Professional, for resellers selling, delivering, managing and supporting secure, wired and wireless infrastructures; and Advanced, for more complex, end-to-end secure corporate networks and datacentre solutions.
Meanwhile, the ExpertONE programme has been revamped to provide extra training around the vendor's Converged Infrastructure concept. This is to include hands-on technical and certification training, new training materials and study guides, and certifications through its global HP Institute academic programme.
