Insight has signed up to become a SAP Business ByDesign reseller adding its own services to those included in business intelligence vendors cloud suite.

SAP has been pushing its Business ByDesign product line promoting it to the channel as an opetion they should be pitching towards mid-market and some smaller customers.

The Insight signing gives the channel player the chance to build its own solution adding back office functionality and data migration to the mix.

Justin Griffiths, EMEA vice president partner management at Insight, said that it would be adding value for the vendor by selling the cloud service to its customer base and would enhance its own portfolio in this area of the market.

Earlier this summer SAP said that the door was open for further resellers to get involved with selling the product and developing additional services with Ian Anstey, head of Business ByDesign in the UK at SAP, telling MicroScope in August more would be welcome.
