C2000 and Azlan parent Tech Data is importing its US cloud channel programme, TDCloud, to Europe in a bid to help resellers take advantage of the opportunities in the sector.

The distributor developed the programme with the help of several vendor partners, including Cisco, HP, Microsoft and VMware, and will take the form of three specific tracks pitched at partners of different abilities, dubbed Cloud Reseller, Cloud Builder and Cloud Provider.

The Cloud Reseller track will concentrate largely on the public cloud market and opportunities around Microsoft Office 365, while the Cloud Builder track will focus on resellers keen to start providing on- or off-premise private clouds. The top level Cloud Provider is aimed at service provider level partners.

All levels of the programme will include educational, enablement and activation resources that will include a series of boot camps, workshops and other events.

Azlan Europe managing director Simon England said: "Interlinking Tech Data's reach and volume trading assets with Azlan's focus on channel activation and depth of engagement with the key enterprise vendors positions us to help our partners ... to accelerate their growth with cloud services."
