Security specialist AVG has stepped up the service support it offers to resellers in a move designed to make life easier for current partners as well as a benefit that will attract fresh talent.
The AVG Partner Centre, based in Newark, is tasked with speeding up response times and sits in the same building as the vendor's SMB Global Support Centre which offers email and phone support to resellers and their customers.
At the same time AVG is also expanding its partner territory management team to provide more support in the form of training, marketing materials and help closing leads.
"Our partners are helping millions of small and medium-sized businesses around the world to protect them," said Chris McManus, UK vice president of sales. "Being able to count on our Partner Centre helps them to foster a reputation for delivering fast, reliable, high quality customer care which, in turn, frequently leads them to further business opportunities."
He added that the services through the partner centre would be available to resellers regardless of the size of the customer and more assistance should help the channel take advantage of growth opportunities.
