Contact centre and UC reseller Sabio has hooked up with IP telephony services provider Gamma Telecom to integrate its SIP trunking services with Avaya telephony platforms.

The duo say this will provide customers with a fully integrated enterprise telephony service backed by high levels of availability and SLAs.

Sabio will also deliver extras such as flexible numbering, number portability and business continuity support, among other things.

Gamma marketing director Richard Bligh said the deal would help "add significant value" to Gamma's SIP trunking technology, "not just through unlocking cost savings for customers, but also in opening up the organisational benefits that can be achieved when the traditional link between numbering and location is broken."

Sabio Network Servcies head Brian Hull talked up cost benefits to both firms in terms of minimising network services delivery overheads.
