The legal spat between Samsung and Apple continues to drag on in the German courts with the fruitfully named US vendor so far winning out against its rival in preventing its tablet from being sold and promoted across Europe.
The decision by Samsung to stop promoting its Galaxy Tab 7.7 at the IFA show in Berlin after a German court ordered the vendor to stop selling the product, which follows on from an earlier injunction against sales of the Tab 10.1.
A patent battle has been going on since April with Apple managing to get an injunction from a Dusseldorf court to stop sales of the Samsung tablet, which it argues infringes on patents used in its products.
Samsung has hit back taking legal action over what it claims are wireless patents that Apple has infringed and it has been battling to get the German court order reversed. But as the latest development shows only too clearly at the moment it is losing the iniative to its rival.
