Midwich appoints key account sales manager, adds more staff

AV and IT distributor Midwich has appointed a key account sales manager, bolstered its sales specialist team, added to the MidwichHome home technology division, strengthened its pro audio division and recruited three extra sales staff to its True Colours technical AV solution division. AV and IT distributor Midwich has appointed a key account sales manager, bolstered its sales specialist team, added to the MidwichHome home technology division, strengthened its pro audio division and recruited three extra sales staff to its True Colours technical AV solution division.

Phil Waterhouse, a 17 year veteran of the industry, has been taken on as key account manager to cover integrators within the pro AV space and provide account management to larger AV resellers in the North of England. His past distribution experience includes stints at Steljes, Sahara and Medium.

The distributor has also appointed five extra staff in business development roles at its sales specialist team to cover Panasonic projectors, Hitachi projectors, Philips Aopen, LG consumer and Sony projectors and large format displays.

Three new regional sales managers have joined the Midwich Home operation as well as a technical support manager. In addition, two business development roles have been filled at the recently launched pro audio division.

The three posts at True Colours cover connectivity, education and solutions sales.
