OKI has added Northamber to its distribution roster in order to widen the number of resellers it reaches with iots printer products.

The distributor will have full access to the OKI range and has been appointed to reach the 300 resellers it works with which currently don't sell any of the vendor's printing products to their customers.

"We wanted to take on an additional print vendor that could expand and strengthen our proposition to resellers," said Henry Matthews, managing director at Northamber.

"It manufactures high-quality, reliable products that fit well into specialist applications and niche markets and this matches our own focus on value added solutions," he added.

Nick Munton, sales director at OKI, said it had wanted to add a distributor, in addition to existing partners Midwich and Micro-P, to get to resellers that could add a printing element to the solutions they were pitching at customers.

"Critically, it concentrates on adding value for its resellers rather than merely trading out of a price point to them. This gives it a synergy with OKI, which enables it to successfully promote our distinct brand identity," he said.
