Seagate's data protection services unit, i365, has announced the appointment of Andy Brewerton as its new UK and Ireland country manager, with responsibility for operations and channel sales in the region.
By submitting your personal information, you agree that TechTarget and its partners may contact you regarding relevant content, products and special offers.
Brewerton will be tasked with growing the firm's business through its EVault partner programme, which covers its EVault DPM and endpoint protection products, as well as an managed service provider programme for cloud specialists.
"For the past year the European team has put the pieces in place around successful EVault and CCSP [Cloud-Connected Service Provider] programmes. Now established, we needed the right person to fine-tune and manage the programmes for the UK and Irish markets," said EMEA managing director Johan Pellicaan.
Brewerton joins i365 from CA's ARCserve business, where he was business development director for EMEA and APAC. His career has also seen stints at Backbone, Brocade and VERITAS.
The firm also took the wraps off a new EMEA HQ in the Netherlands this morning. The 's-Hertogenbosch-based facility will double as a training centre for VARs and customers, said i365.
