Daisy Group has revealed plans to create 100 new jobs before Christmas at its base in Nelson, Lancashire, and will be holding a recruitment day next month.

Having outgrown its current premises, the firm is close to completing renovation work on a new facility next-door which it says will be able to house 700 employees.

Its current building is home to 400 staff and has recently seen an influx of employees from SpiriTel's Wigan office. Along with Rolls Royce, it is now one of the largest employers in its local area.

"One of the many reasons for expanding our Nelson base is to make room for the employees we haev gained through acquisitions," said Daisy COO Gareth Kirkwood.

"However, the extra space in the new building will also mean there will be a particular focus on recruiting more staff to see us through this period of extreme growth," he added.
