Arrow ECS is to offer technical support to Riverbed resellers after signing up to become a Riverbed Authorised Support Partner (RASP).

The agreement, which will see Arrow add new 24-7 support resources, will build on an extant contract between the two firms; Arrow has distributed Riverbed's portfolio of hardware-based and virtualised WAN optimisation, performance management and data protection tools since 2007.

Arrow UK managing director Steve Pearce said the addition of support resource to its offering would enhance reseller service levels and support their customer relationships.

Riverbed senior vice president of worldwide support, Scott Downie, added: "Through the RASP programme our distributors and resellers benefit from being positioned to increase their bottom line.

"Scaling our support organisation to include services from our distributors allows us to focus on our core competencies," he added.
