Disaster recovery and data protection specialist Acronis is hoping a new distribution partnership with EntaTech will enable it to tap into what remains of the UK system builder market.

The deal will see EntaTech distributing Acronis' new Backup & Recovery 11 corporate line, which was released last month and provides SMEs and branch offices with integrated disaster recovery and data protection in physical, virtual and cloud environments.

It will also get access to Acronis' consumer range, which will be sold bundled with Windows 7 OEM.

Acronis general manager of northern Europe and Middle East, David Blackman, said that selling to system builders "is the next logical step in our business development strategy".
