The enterprise and networking division of C2000, Azlan, has added WLAN vendor Meru Networks to its line-up to address the growing demand for virtualised WLAN infrastructure fuelled by the explosion in mobile devices.

Azlan said it would focus on Meru's high-performance AP33 and entry-level AP1000i access points to help resellers deliver higher service levels and scalability options to their end users, the distributor said.

"Meru is one of the leading experts in this area," said Azlan European business development director Steve Cant. "We will be working closely with them to ensure that VARs and integrators can meet the requirements of customers that operate in the most bandwidth-intensive environments and need the best and most consistent performance available."

Meanwhile, Meru vice president of international sales David Kelly, outlined plans to aggressively expand the firm's partner programme across Europe on the back of the relationship "with plans to further penetrate key vertical markets".
