SME broadband networking vendor ZyXEL has signed an agreement with Ingram Micro to offer its full range of products, including UTM firewalls, switching and routing, wireless LAN and storage kit.

Taiwanese ZyXEL already runs a sizeable distribution channel in the UK composed of C2000, Enta, Micro P and VAD Electronic Frontier, but said the appointment of Ingram would support its growing partner programme with a focus on its 'Best Networking' marketing campaign.

"It makes for an exciting opportunity [that] will undoubtedly help us to broaden and strengthen our coverage of resellers across the UK," said ZyXEL UK managing director Lee Marsden.

Ingram Micro UK value business director Cathi Low said ZyXEL's 2010 growth and broadening product ranges would "omplement our existing manufacturer portfolio".
