Red Hat has introduced deal registration for its top tiers of European partners to underpin its ambitions to grow the business through the channel.
By rolling out financial incentives for the first time to its advanced and premier partners the vendor is hoping that rebates will provoke greater efforts by its channel.
"The introduction of deal registration to our advanced and premier partners, provides valued financial incentives as we grow our businesses, said Petra Heinrich, vice president, partners & alliances, EMEA.
The rebate rewards will be given to those partners that register customer deals into the programme and will reward resellers for finding and closing subscription sales.
The deal registration programme will be backed up with enhancements to its reseller portal, which has now integrated the deal registration process into the services that dealers can take advantage of.
