Ecommerce specialist eSellerPro has unveiled Keith Bird as its CEO after managing to tempt the former SonicWall man onboard to help drive growth across Europe.

Bird, who was vice president EMEA at SonicWall, left the security vendor at the end of last year and has popped up officially at eSellerPro today with a brief to take the ecommerce platform into fresh territories and to ramp up revenue.

eSellerPro was set up in 2006 and has recently been given a £2m investment from Notion Capital to fund ambitious plans the player has to expand its ecommerce cloud platform.

"eSellerPro is already handling more then £500,000 in transactions every day and there is strong demand from customers all over the world. Recent figures show that the UK online retail market continues to expand fast," said Bird.
