The secure flash drive specialist already works with Simms International but is broadening its distribution channel to gain more traction through security resellers.

'With the pressure increasing on businesses following the recent fines for data loss by the Information Commissioners Office, Cohort and its value added resellers offer IronKey a strategic route into such organisations," said Colin Woodland, VP EMEA at ironKey.

The vendor produces security solutions aimed to fend off concerns firms might have about mobile data and providing secure portable desktop virtualisation.

Graham Smee, managing director of Cohort Technology, said the IronKey products would work well with other products it already handled and it would provide resellers with a greater chance to build a data loss and protection pitch.
