Distributor EntaTech has followed in the footsteps of Computer 2000's enterprise arm Azlan and network support services company Networks First with the launch of a reseller-focused iPhone app.

The downloadable software package recreates the features of the distie's online portal, EntaOnline, and gives dealers access to its entire product portfolio, barcode scanning technology to check stock and compare prices, as well as enabling them to view their order histories and invoices.

The application also includes a meet the team facility, where dealers can call their account managers through clicking on their pictures.

Group vice president Jon Atherton remarked: "We pride ourselves on distributing IT innovation, it is only right that we use technology to improve how we deliver our service."
