Enterprise and networking distributor Azlan has launched a lifeboat programme for resellers affected by the expulsion of Nimans from Avaya's distribution line-up.

After Avaya trimmed its over-distributed channel yesterday, the Computer 2000 subsidiary was quick to make its move on resellers that depended on Nimans for procurement of Avaya kit.

"We have set in place a fast-track credit accelerator programme which will open up immediate and extensive credit lines for qualifying partners," said Azlan Avaya team leader Graham Bunting.

Bunting talked up Azlan's additional expertise in video-conferencing, data and virtualisation skills.
