Symantec has launched a partner advisory council to increase the feedback it recieves from its resellers across Europe.

The EMEA partner advisory council has been announced at the vendor's Partner Engage conference and will consist of 15 to 20 enterprise partners across the EMEA region, meeting a few times a year.

Jason Ellis, vice president of EMEA channel sales at Symantec, said that it had developed many of its programme features based on partner feedback but it wanted to formalise that process.

"The EMEA Partner Advisory Council will enable us to more formally integrate the voice of our EMEA partners into the company," he said.
