Vodafone has rolled out a new UK reseller programme designed to help dealers move from traditional communications kit sales to an all-encompassing unified comms model.

The three-tiered programme will group comms resellers by value, volume and expertise levels and will provide commercial incentives, dedicated sales and service support and a business development toolkit, among other things.

The programme will be managed out of the firm's Partner Services offices in the Midlands, the former home of b-2-b comms provider Yes Telecom, which was bought by Vodafone in 2006.

Vodafone UK enterprise director Peter Kelly remarked: "As we move from an era of mobile connectivity to selling UC services it is crucial that our channel partners have the right training, skills and capabilities to sell solutions such as [comms-as-a-service package] One Net."
