BT Global Services gets new sales, marketing head

Troubled enterprise ICT services provider BT Global Services (BTGS) has appointed former AT&T EMEA head Tom Regent to president of global sales and marketing.

Regent will assume responsibility for the firm's worldwide sales ops, bid management, indirect channel strategy and marketing from 1 November.

He previously held senior roles at IBM in his native Belgium and at a global level.

BTGS CEO Jeff Kelly said Regent's standing in the industry would "help us meet our objectives and position us for growth in the future."
