Former 2e2 security head takes UK MD role at Check Point

Security player Check Point has plugged the gap in its UK management team bringing on board a fresh managing director. Terry Greer-King has taken the reigns as UK and Ireland country manager filling a vacancy created by Nick Lowe's promotion to head of Western European sales earlier this year.

Security player Check Point has plugged the gap in its UK management team bringing on board a fresh managing director.

Terry Greer-King has taken the reigns as UK and Ireland country manager filling a vacancy created by Nick Lowe's promotion to head of Western European sales earlier this year.

Greer-King joins from Check Point partner 2e2 where he was security solutions divisional director. Previous to that he had been COO at Netstore when it was acquired in 2008.

Lowe said that with such an extensive background in the channel Greer-King would be well placed to understand what resellers wanted and needed from the vendor.
