In its ongoing transition to increase services revenue ComputerLinks has announced a reshuffle of its management team.

The Newmarket-based distributor has been actively looking to grow business in areas beyond security and increase its services capability.

Following the establishment of a national network of engineering depots providing 24/7 support and the move into physical security and virtualisation the channel player has now changed internal roles to reflect its evolving business.

As a result Dave Ellis has been appointed to the role of director of new technology and services and David Caughtry has been given the position of director of core technology.

"We are a lot more than a security distributor and we are also about the complementary technology and we will be actively bringing on board new technologies in the coming months," said Ellis.
