Retail and b2b distie Micro-P has expanded into a 6,000 square foot facility at Chineham Park  in Basingstoke to house its fast-growing Mobile division, writes Linda Endersby.

"Our successful growth strategy has accelerated the development of the company and we needed an extra building to house our expanded Mobile and Telco Divisions which grew a phenomenal 172% in 2011," said Paul Bryan, commercial and sales director at Micro-P.

A mobility showroom demonstrating leading mobile and accessory products from leading manufacturers such as Nokia, Samsung, Jawbone, Jabra and Tech21 will be installed in the newly acquired space.

Chineham Park managing director Rupert Batho said: "Micro-P is one of the longest established businesses here at Chineham Park and in the past two years we have seen this customer expand by 31% and then again with this new building by a further 35%. This exceptional growth shows how we can help our customers accommodate their success."

Bryan added: "Chineham Park has been our home since 1991 and the obvious communication benefits make this location perfect for our business, further enhanced by the additional amenities for our staff on site."

The firm is also rubbing shoulders with new neighbour Computer 2000, who moved into the neighbourhood in March after outgrowing its old digs.
