Microsoft resellers have been given a glimpse of the software giant's plans for the next couple of years thanks to a leaked roadmap.

The roadmap indicated a launch early next year for Office 15 and, in the second half of 2013, the next version of Windows Phone OS.

The plans have come to light thanks to the quick thinking of Maarten Visser, CEO of SharePoint and mobility startup Meetroo, who found the details on the vendor's partner network.

He posted details of the plans, which were revealed to developers last December, on his Twitter feed.

Microsoft has a track record in letting slip plans prematurely, with CEO Steve Ballmer himself being rapped on the knuckles for talking about Windows 8 before he should have done.
