HP has confirmed Michael Bernhardt as the head of distribution for its Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking business across EMEA, replacing Andrej Golob who quit before the end of last year.
Prior to the promotion, Bernhardt was the boss of ESSN distribution in Germany and will maintain a dual role until his successor is found.
"Michael brings a wealth of channel and management experience to this position," said HP in a statement sent to MicroScope.
The tech monster is expected to shake-up the ESSN distribution channel as part of its Converged Infrastructure strategy, evidence of which was seen recently by the departure of networking partner Westcon.
Golob resigned in December to become the CEO at telecoms provider Swisscom but bizarrely HP said he "decided" to leave at the end of last month.
