WStore UK managing director Tony Price has quietly bid farewell to the business he founded after eleven years in charge.
His departure was not unexpected after WStore was acquired last summer by Systemax, which then folded the management of the firm under Sandy Price, boss of its Misco operations in Europe.

"It was a mutual decision to leave, I needed some time out of the industry and Misco did not need two managing directors," Tony Price told MicroScope.
Price incorporated WStore in late 1998, started trading in early 1999 and established the business as SME and public sector supplier.
The best calendar year to date for WStore was in 2004 when revenues reached £31.5m and it made pre-tax profits of £383,000. In the most recent accounts for 2008, it made a pre-tax loss of £314,000 on sales of £22.4m.
Prior to Wstore, Price spent eight years at CHS Distribution and admitted it is highly likely that he will return to the channel to set up a new venture or work with an existing firm.
