Former Novell country manager Jacqueline de Rojas has taken over running the UK for McAfee.
As Novell boss she was widely credited with spearheading a reform of the channel model at the vendor so comes to McAfee as vice president of UK and Ireland with detailed knowledge of the reseller landscape.

“Our partner ecosystem plays a key role in the ongoing development of out business in the UK and Ireland,and the expansion of our relationships with partners at all levels is a fundamental part of the plan to move McAfee forwards,” she said.
She added that as security threats continued to escalate and cyber criminals become more sophisticated the market was benefiting from increased customer interest.
“Cyber crime is growing at a pace in line with economic concern, and as technology becomes increasingly mobile and the number of corporate devices grown exponentially, data needs to remain a key consideration,” she added.
David Quantrell, EMEA president at McAfee, said that de Rojashad proved she could drive growth and change at Novell and she had been brought on board to drive growth.
