Comstor rolls out ProCurve sales initiative

Comstor has kicked off the new decade with the launch of a range of channel sales initiatives around the HP ProCurve networking brand. The Westcon-owned distributor has added personalised training through a programme dubbed Preferred Partner FastTrack

Comstor has kicked off the new decade with the launch of a range of channel sales initiatives around the HP ProCurve networking brand.

The Westcon-owned distributor has added personalised training through a programme dubbed Preferred Partner FastTrack and a Technology Centre that it says will help selected resellers deliver focused sales backed up by technical and laboratory support.

The FastTrack programme will provide free training and exams, mentoring, sales training and marketing support and is designed to help dealers attain Select Certified status on ProCurve kit.

The Technology Centre, meanwhile, will allow reseller technical staff to build proof-of-concept networks and familiarise themselves with ProCurve kit, with or without assistance from Comstor’s own people.

Comstor UK general manager Tony Nevill reasserted the distributor’s commitment to “growing this area of our business and further developing our support tools and enablement programmes to generate greater opportunity”.

The distributor was formerly known chiefly as a Cisco-house,but added ProCurve to its line-up last year, partly in response to reseller requests for a more diverse network offering.
