Vodafone remains tight-lipped over the availability of Samsung's Nexus S smartphone, which is already available at Carphone warehouse.
The Nexus S is powered by the latest of the Android platform Gingerbread, and will contain the latest Samsung hardware features.
The phone also includes near field communications (NFC) technology, suggesting Google intends the Nexus S to make contactless payments. Other features include a front-facing camera, improved 3D graphics hardware for gaming and more accurate motion sensors.
The handset has been available at Carphone Warehouse outlets since December.
DJ Lee, executive vice-president at Samsung's Mobile Communications Business, said the phone will integrate the best of Samsung's and Google's technology.
Vodafone said the device would be available soon, but could not be more specific on a shipping date.
