Highlights from PwC’s State of Information Security Survey, India 2013

The survey findings suggest that adoption of new technologies is moving faster than security implementation. Only 46% of respondents have a mobile security strategy in place, with cloud at 31% and social media at 37%, which indicates a lag in adoption rates.

While 52% of respondents claim to have a security strategy for personal devices in the workplace, only 38% have provisions for malware protection for these devices. This indicates a gap between strategy and execution.
