Rare Apple 1 computer goes under the hammer

Isaac and his apple

In February 1977 Apple changed its original logo depicting Isaac Newton under a "paradisical" apple tree to the simple Apple logo which is used today.

The original Apple 1 Manual which the Isaac design is included in the lot.

“Early days you could ring up either of the Steves and get help. It was very affordable, an Apple 1”

“The original logo, handwritten note from Jobs or Wozniak adds a huge amount of value. I would hope whoever buys it makes sure it goes display,” said Kevin Murrell, co-founder trustee of The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC).
