Diesel and Demandware

Diesel is piloting Demandware’s Digital Store Solution (DSS) in its NYC Soho store. If an item is not available in the store, the associate can order it online on behalf of the customer. On viewing the product in the store, the manager told Computer Weekly that the tablet solution had led to incremental sales because it keeps customers inside the store, rather than walking out and into a competitor.
