IP-VPN revenue drop hits corporate data services sales

According to IDC, the total UK corporate data services market – meaning spend on services that connect business sites to one another, as well as web hosting – dropped slightly in 2013 as IP-VPN revenues, digital leased lines and frame/cell services fell, although Ethernet and web hosting revenues both increased slightly.

Sales of such services come in addition to the SME fixed broadband sales and relate to connectivity revenues, excluding managed services revenues.
