Diana Kennedy, head of strategy and architecture, enterprise systems, BP Plc, from London won the FDM everywoman Team Leader of the Year award 2014.

Following senior roles at Centrica and PWC, Kennedy now leads a team of 30 enterprise and functional architects who are responsible for the design and governance of BP’s SAP architecture. Her role requires a blend of technical depth and creativity, energy and perseverance as well as confidence and the ability to inspire and motivate a group of technical experts.

Kennedy was described by judges as: “Unassuming, impressive, authentic, incredible, humble and a great role model.”

The annual awards aim to address the issue of attracting more women into the tech sector and retaining more female talent. This year's winners were announced during a ceremony at the Park Lane Sheraton.
