Highlights from PwC’s State of Information Security Survey, India 2013

Parallel to the trend that indicates a rise in security spends, the survey notes that project deferrals are on the decline, and there’s protection of overall project budgets. Close to 60% of respondents claim that information security linked operational and capital expenditures don’t see deferrals in their organizations.

Information security project budgets also seem to be well protected as per findings, with almost two-thirds of respondents saying there have been no spending cuts. However, 7% of respondents inform PwC that their capital budgets saw cost cuts upwards of 20%.
