The goal was to protect critical data and business processes in a worst-case scenario. What the firm did not know at the time was that it would experience three worst-case scenarios - an earthquake, a tsunami and a fire.
Using virtualisation and DR Catalent Pharma Solutions got through each disaster with almost no effect on business operations.
Products Used: VMware vSphere 4.1 and Veeam Backup & Replication 6. HP DL360 Servers, 1Gb Internal Network, 2Mb WAN Link, Riverbed WAN Accelerators, HP P2312 SAN.
