BCA is Europe’s largest used vehicle auction company. The company sells more than one million vehicles every year and has an annual turnover in excess of £4bn.
According to his new employer, Gray started his new role on Monday 23 January. He is accountable for all the group’s IT functions across the UK and Europe, which includes responsibility for the development and implementation of IT strategy as well as the day-to-day delivery of IT services to the group.
Prior to joining BCA, Gray worked for almost a year and a half at Selfridges. Before that, he was the IT director at House of Fraser.
Selfridges did not respond to requests for comment on the reasons for Gray's departure, or whether there is a replacement for him.
